Ian Stuart is my favourite bridal designer and I have been inspired by so many of his dresses. I think the first time I saw one of his bridal designs at
the Victoria & Albert museum was when I knew for sure what I wanted to do in my life; so that's what I'm doing!
My name is Melissa Jane Clements, I am 23 years old and I love creating beautiful dresses. I graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in July 2016 with a degree in Costume and Performance Design.
I am a dressmaker through and through who enjoys making dresses of all shapes and sizes, in particular bridal gowns. I love creating unique, high quality bespoke wedding gowns that will make brides stand out on their special day. I have an eye for detail and believe that precision and accuracy are key to making a dress that is visually pleasing and fits perfectly. I take great pride in making sure my creations have the ‘wow factor’ that will make every bride feel extraordinary.
I also make occasion wear. I have never been one to follow the crowd, so when I'm dressing for an occasion I like to have something that really expresses me and who I am. I can't think of a better way of doing that for you than creating a dress designed and made completely to your specifications!
